Our client, a global sensing technology provider, has an opening for an Accounts Payable Supervisor, who will be required to work on a permanent basis situated in Oxford.

Job Purpose:
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to manage the day to day activities and tasks of the Accounts Payable team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding company with room for growth.

Key Accountabilities of the Job:

• Daily management of Accounts Payable team and processing of allocated invoices
• Reconciliations of supplier statements
• Aged creditors and other analysis
• Maintaining strong relationships with relevant teams/employees and suppliers
• Identifying system/process improvements and working closely with the Finance Manager to implement necessary changes
• Monthly reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts and fulfilment of assigned Month End tasks (prepayments, accruals etc.)
• Providing cover for other AP team members as and when required
• Any other duties as might be required within the remit and responsibilities of the post.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification:

• AAT Level 4 qualification, with ideally ACCA or equivalent
• Previous experience of working in a managerial/supervisory role in a Finance/Accounts Department
• Supporting cross managing process/system improvement projects with other cost centre heads.
• Have extensive experience collaborating with finance and non-finance teams and acting as a finance business partner
• Excellent interpersonal skills with strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Expert understanding of purchase to pay cycle and the interaction with other ERP components
