Talascend is currently seeking a Business Development Manager- Organic Food for a direct hire opportunity in UAE.
Duties / Responsibilities:
Open avenues of new lines of Agriculture/Food Processing business with minimum CAPEX required
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased sales/values
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the network
Participate in pricing the new products/services
Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
Initiate the retail private label business, generating an additional annual review
Consolidate the Ecommerce business
Redesign the Country Portfolio Strategy with a segmented focus and clear priorities & strategies per cluster
Promotes my client at attract business development process to develop opportunities

Key Accountability
Develop, establish and maintain relationships with clients for repeat business
Identifies opportunities and arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Prepare and present the post business opportunities presentations
Attend pre, mid and post tender meetings for negotiation and finalization
Responsible for driving new and growth strategies focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction and preparing business plans for expansion
Review and agree subcontract agreements to ensure the companies interests are maintained
Ensure to achieve budgets and understands our obligations towards our clients
Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Personal Attributes / Position Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related subject such as Business Administration Management or Sales
  • Work Experience of at least 10years+ in food and agriculture industry
  • 3 years' experience as a Business Development Manager
  • Knowledge of market strategies & trends
  • Excellent negotiation, decision making and communication skills
