Role: Field Service Technician

Location: Southampton

Our Client has a requirement for a Field Service Technician based in Southampton

Role Purpose: 

The role requires attendance to client sites to survey existing systems and carry out modifications on existing electrical installations. Duties will involve control panel modifications, PLC system upgrades and wiring migrations, including complete site testing and commissioning of control systems.

The jobholder will need to spend the majority of their time on client sites as necessary to deliver the function.

Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:

• Familiarisation with the installation of local control panels / motor control centres, be able to organize and carry out modifications to existing control systems safely.
• Primarily working on utility projects 
• Competent as an industrial electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent):
• ECS Cardholder (Installation Electrician)
• C&G Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) (2382)
• C&G Electrical inspection and testing (2391)
