Fire Engineer: Manchester

Our client, an independent advisory firm who focus on Fire & Safety Engineering within the Design & Construction phases of large scale projects spanning a variety of sectors such as Aviation/Transport, Secure Environments, Commercial & Retail/Leisure amongst others are currently looking to expand their Manchester office with the appointment of 2 x Fire Engineers on a permanent basis.

Supported by some of the best fire safety professionals in the profession you will primarily ensure technical quality and client service commitments are met. In addition tasks may include research, technical reviews of fire strategies from other organisations.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge

• Good interpersonal skills
• Demonstrable experience of developing and maintaining close links with colleagues, clients and contractors are essential.
• Ideally you'll be a member of the Institution of Fire Engineers and working towards registration with the Engineering Council.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, you should also have a recognised fire safety qualification in addition to some current level of involvement or recognition with a professional body, or be working towards this.
