Talascend is currently seeking a General Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Saudi Arabia.
About the Client:
Global leader in Engineering and Renewable energy
Duties / Responsibilities:
To oversee all staff, budgets, operations and maintenance of the business Unit.
The responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies.
Should be a thoughtful leader and a confident decision-maker, helping the business unit people develop and be productive, while ensuring the profits are on the rise.
Ultimately, you'll help the unit to grow and thrive.
Design strategy and set goals for growth.
Oversee day-to-day operations.
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
Set policies and processes.
Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally.
Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance
Direct the employee assessment process
Prepare regular reports for upper management
Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
Qualification and Skill sets required
Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role such as Asset management, Plant Management etc.
Should be a Saudi National with excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
Experience in planning and budgeting
Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations, maintenance etc.)
Strong analytical ability
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Must be a bachelor's degree holder.
Minimum 10 years of experience in overall Business management or Plant business
Ability to manage and work with people of different cultures.
