. We are currently seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer with expertise in heat transfer and significant experience in LNG projects to join our team.

Position Overview: As a Mechanical Engineer specializing in heat transfer and LNG projects, you will play a pivotal role in the design, analysis, and optimization of systems related to LNG facilities. You will collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary engineering team, contributing your expertise to enhance the efficiency and safety of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Heat Transfer Analysis: Conduct in-depth heat transfer analysis and calculations to evaluate the performance of equipment and systems used in LNG facilities, such as heat exchangers, vaporizers, and cryogenic storage vessels.

Design and Optimization: Develop innovative mechanical designs and solutions that maximize heat transfer efficiency, reliability, and safety within the context of LNG processes.

LNG Project Support: Provide technical expertise and support throughout the lifecycle of LNG projects, from concept development to commissioning and operation.

Simulation and Modelling: Utilize advanced modelling and simulation tools to predict thermal behaviour, troubleshoot potential issues, and optimize heat transfer processes.

Compliance and Standards: Ensure all heat transfer systems comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations, and participate in safety reviews.

Collaborative Environment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, project managers, and procurement, to integrate heat transfer considerations seamlessly into overall project design.

Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to stakeholders and clients.

Hybrid Working: Embrace the hybrid working model, with two days a week spent working from home and the remainder at our NW10 office.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience (minimum X years) in heat transfer analysis and design, with a specific focus on LNG projects.

Familiarity with industry-specific software tools for heat transfer simulations and modelling (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, Aspen HYSYS).

Strong understanding of relevant codes and standards governing heat transfer processes in LNG facilities (e.g., API, ASME, ISO).

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Attention to detail, analytical mind-set, and problem-solving skills to address complex engineering challenges.

Valid work authorization in the UK (if applicable).

We offer a competitive rate for this rolling 6-month contract position and a dynamic work environment where your expertise will be valued and respected.
