Our client, a global sensing technology provider, has an opening for a Program Manager, who will be required to work on a permanent basis situated in Oxford.

Job Purpose:
We are looking for a Program Manager to oversee and manage the development and improvement of our current project. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and expanding company with room for growth.

Key Accountabilities of the Job:
As a Program Manager you will be responsible for setting clear targets for number of genomes sequenced per quarter, supporting the project lead to achieve these numbers. You will identify new potential groups with access to samples whilst maintaining the database management. You will need to be proactive and creative with your approach to identify challenges, risks and opportunities and be able to work against a budget. You will also need to be the driving force behind the project amongst a large cohort of users.

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification:
As a Program Manager you must be able to work comfortably under pressure with minimum supervision and a positive can-do attitude. You will have knowledge of the life sciences and genomics market, with an understanding of the technology within sequencing, and how the technology can be applied to address biological problems.
