Project Planner

12 Month contract - Inside IR35

The successful candidate must be familiar with working in an onsite environment and have previously experienced with working within a high voltage substation construction type of project typically within a Transmission Distribution sector of the Electrical Supply Industry. We are looking for a professional planner, so the #1 skills requested are about planning, P6 environment, and cost control.
Site experience AND electrical substation experience would be perfect.
Site experience and any electrical experience is a must.

  Background in Project Management. Could be part of the graduate certificate or independent training
• As part of a project team, 5 years minimum of experience in planning management,
- Application of planning control principles(WBS, critical path ,progress)
- Application of planning tools (MS-project and/or Primavera)
including interfaces with Cost control, and workload management
• As a plus:
- Carried out organizational and strategic planning process would be appreciated
- Carried out Planning integration principles and methods
- Carried out Contract management: made EOTs and supported negotiations
- Carried out Risks management
- Carried out Schedules “what if” analysis
- Has Experience in Substations and construction site activities
• Communication: English
