Civil Infrastructure - Junior Planner - Knightsbridge, London

My client is currently looking for 2 Junior M&E Planner's to work on a Shell and Core fit out project in West and Central London.
They are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK. Thery are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical.
The successful candidate will join an already established Pre -Construction team on the Pre-Construction phase of this project. The projects are Mechanical & electrical engineering installation the West London project is in excess of £20M and the Central London project is £60M.
Planner roles and responsibilities are to:

• Development of the Project Controls Systems specific to the Project including:
• Setting up WBS
• Set up Progress Measurement System (PMS)
• Develop the Schedule, S-Curves and Manpower Histograms
• Cost Loading of Programs (as required)
• Baseline the Schedule
• Implementing the Project Controls systems
• Progress Measuring of all works, Direct & Sub-Contract, using the Dornan bespoke PMS
• Monitoring of Labour man hours & Analyse Labour Efficiencies
• Update the Schedule in Primavera/ASTA
• Systems Turnover Tracking
• Monitor delays & client Notifications as required
• Monthly Project Reporting to Senior Management

Planner essential experience:

• Ex M&E Trade & Engineering Degree candidates will be considered
• Previous experience on UK construction sites is essential
• Planning from start to finish on Construction M&E engineering installations
• 1-5 years' planning experience will be considered
• Advanced MS Office especially in Excel (Formulas)

Preferred but not essential experience:

• Primavera P6 or ASTA PowerProjects
• Report Production
