Responsibilities

  • Checking progress and maintaining up to date plans for Project Copper
  • Supporting development and implementation of communication and engagement strategy and plan
  • Supporting roll out of new decision making framework
  • Supporting implementation of new meeting structure
  • Supporting ongoing integration of Highways England team
  • Supporting detailed operating model design - e.g. with preparation and outputs from sessions
  • Setting up data capture, monitoring and presenting back success measures/metrics
  • Integration with ongoing cultural work
  • Supporting the capability development / talent programmes
  • To deliver parent company project governance requirements as required
  • To consider project legacy and in all decision making in the same way as cost, risk and time
  • To look for ways to encourage innovative thinking around how to improve legacy benefits
  • To hold health, safety and welfare (HSW) as a key project value and to participate in the creation, development and implementation of HSW strategies by the project leadership team

Previous experience:


Essential Technical Skills

  • Experience in transformational change and delivery of change
  • Understanding of transformational change skills and embedding change in organisations
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strong communication written and verbal communication skills - able to communicate at all levels
  • Experience of working in complex and multi-faceted transformation initiatives
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines with competing priorities
  • Collaborative team player
  • Project management/PMO skills and able to drive delivery


Desired Technical Skills

  • Experience in planning and implementing communication and engagement strategies and plans
  • Experience designing and delivering innovative communications methods (video, live events, etc.)
