Senior E&I Construction Engineer, Responsible for the Construction and Commissioning Project Deliverables.
Responsible for the Safe Delivery of the Project.
Ensure Onshore and Offshore Project Deliverables are met as Per Project Schedule
  • Accountable for the undertaking in a competent and professional manner, of all allocated tasks as detailed within the business management system (BMS) appropriate to the location. All tasks will be carried out in a manner, which takes cognisance of the stated objectives and the methods to achieve this
  • Promote awareness of health, safety, environmental & quality aspects of discipline of work to achieve fit-for-purpose engineering
  • To ensure that the project generated planning documentation reflects a fit-for-purpose design and complies with the project requirements
  • Deliver the project in line with the EPS BMS (Business Management System) and in accordance with relevant / project procedures
  • Promote clients values and golden rules of safety
  • Adhere to and promote clients code of business conduct policy
  • Adhere to and promote clients just culture
  • Ensure project personnel have the correct competency profile for positions
  • Responsible for construction and commissioning project deliverables
  • To lead and give guidance to the onshore project development team
  • Liaise with all departments who have an input into the construction and commissioning work pack
  • Ensure project /company BMS processes and procedures are adhered to.
  • Ensure management of change process is adhered to
  • Ensure integrity certification process is implemented and followed
  • Ensure constructability and commissioning are considered and incorporated in engineering
  • Ensure design deliverables are only "as required" without nice to have's
  • Assist in offshore design survey to ensure constructability throughout design
  • Ensure timely review of project work-packs, (Rev A and C)
  • Input technical expertise to the engineering process

  • Introduce to Engineering and Construction (where applicable) innovative techniques to aid design and offshore implementation
  • Identify onshore and offshore project resource requirements in a timely manner
  • Assist with interviews of disciplines when required
  • Interface with construction manager and logistics for project resources
  • Interface with other project construction co-ordinators to ensure forthcoming project work and ensure that onshore deliverables together with material availability are as required to maintain consistent work for the construction resources based offshore

    • Liaise with engineering disciplines to ensure their deliverables meet the project requirement in order to meet work-pack deliverables. (as per engineering deliverable plan)
    • Capable of discharging responsibilities to key project individuals
    • Capable of completing project construction estimates for new projects
    • Capable of conducting (Chair) constructability review meeting for project delivery
    • Capable of standing in as no.2 for construction manager position during holidays etc.
    • Ensure compliance of completed work-packs
    • Attending project kick of meetings (KOM)
    • Interface with vendor for work-pack deliverables
    • Identify specialist services
    • Identify specialist tooling
  • Be fully conversant with clients / EPS Project HSEQ plan
  • Be fully aware of annual safety targets
  • Promote clients values both onshore and offshore
  • Check / prepare all construction and commissioning estimates for project. (EESE) (review through Rev A stage to Rev C )
  • Ensure construction and commissioning productivity both onshore and offshore reporting is correct and in line with the project schedule
  • Review weekly tracking (job card hours)
  • Review construction and commissioning indirect & non-productive time offshore is in line with the project directive
  • Manage onshore development of timesheet booking and project progress reporting
  • Liaise with planning department engineer
  • Experience in a senior construction engineer position
  • Offshore knowledge and experience
  • Technical qualification HNC standard or equivalent
