Profile:
You hold a Bachelor or above degree in mechanical engineering or physics. You have over 10 years proven experience in wind turbine main gearbox design, validation and trouble-shooting.
You master the gearbox development of Wind Turbines with clear vision of the technology trend and roadmap. You have great courage of challenging status quo.
You demonstrated your expertise with more than 3 successful wind turbine gearbox developments incl. the testing part.
You have over 3 years senior technical leader or supervisor experience with proven capability to lead a global gearbox development team. You even have experience of working with suppliers or customers in a technology cooperation framework.
You have strong global mindset to engage global team members, with your sound communication skill and English language skill.
You always put customer at the centricity, and you can work under high work pressure sometimes due to that reason.

Role:
Your role is to lead the global team for wind turbine gearbox development and product lifecycle management.

Key areas of responsibility:
As the senior gearbox expert, you will develop technology strategy for wind turbine gearboxes in the company.
As the director, you will take the responsibility of developing a world class wind turbine gearbox design and lifecycle management team.
You will lead the wind turbine gearbox team to execute wind turbine gearbox development projects aligned with company product strategy.
You lead the efforts of establishing gearbox design guidance and tools, and join related industry conferences on behalf of the company.
You will work closely with sourcing and manufacturing team to qualify and develop gearbox suppliers for production fulfillment and cost out purpose.
You will take the responsibility of keeping competitiveness of gearbox products in terms of fulfilling wind turbine requirements in lifecycle, technically and cost wise.
