Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a 12-month contract in Surrey, with potential for remote work. Manage oil & gas engineering projects, ensuring their success and contributing to industry growth.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage engineers, ensuring project success.
  • Oversee oil & gas projects from planning to completion.
  • Collaborate with teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery while meeting quality standards.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
  • Review and approve designs, technical documentation, and plans.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and vendors to align project goals.
  • Provide technical expertise to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Participate in project reviews and reporting to senior management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in oil & gas.
  • Experience in delivery of pre FEED and FEED scopes.
  • Expereince of Saudi Aramco project delivery.
  • Experience in complex project delivery with strong experience in upstream disciplines.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering; advanced degree a plus.
  • Strong oil & gas engineering background with project success.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to manage and inspire teams.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
