Lead Civil Engineer:Dusseldorf

Job Role

• Leadership, responsibility, control and staff deployment planning of the CSA project team for the cost and on-time project execution
• Assign, monitor and control planning services from the concept study to implementation planning for earthworks and civil engineering, solid and steel construction works as well as buildings and their technical equipment (TGA)
• Consideration of occupational safety, structural fire protection and official environmental regulations within the project execution
• Monitoring and preparation of technical specifications, mass determinations and bills of quantities
• Technical clarifications and coordination with other specialist departments, external engineering offices, subcontractors, experts, test engineers and the customer
• commissioning of planning services to external engineering firms as well as technical support of tendering and awarding of construction services to subcontractors in German and English
• Creation of regular status reports for project management
• Professionally responsible participation in the preparation of offers

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Several years of experience in planning, tendering, contracting and property supervision of industrial plants in plant construction, considering the building regulations and building planning law
• Sound knowledge in the structural design of structures
• Experience in dealing with AwSV and basic understanding of adjacent disciplines, in particular pipeline construction, apparatus engineering and electrical engineering
• Leadership, sense of responsibility, communication and presentation skills
• Good German and English language skills
• Desirable knowledge of 3D plant design and experience in the field of TGA
