MAC (Main Automation Contractor) Systems Completions Lead

This role will support the Systems Completions process from MC (Mechanical Completion), through Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up and will report to the MAC Project Manager.
Primary Job Duties/Functions:

• Commits to and champions the implementation of a safe working environment for everyone on the project and the continuing establishment of an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) culture
• Attend daily/weekly meetings with the team on safety related concerns
• Works with project-wide Systems Completions teams and the MAC to ensure Operational Excellence and Incident and Injury Free expectations and deliverables are met
• Directly interface with the MAC and project-wide SC teams to ensure understanding and alignment for schedule priority dates for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Start-Up
• Directly interface with the MAC Construction Manager (MAC construction teams) and project-wide SC teams to manage a smooth handover of Sub-Systems from MC to Pre-Commissioning
• Work with project-wide Systems Completions team leads, planners and I&C Area Leads to understand and align the priorities
• Work with the MAC to support accordingly with resources, materials and documents to meet, SAT, Loop Check Commissioning and Start-Up need dates and requirements
• Work with MAC Construction Manager for status and schedule reviews to ensure construction requirements are met on MAC procured equipment to meet project priority schedules for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-Up
• Work with the MAC to ensure MAC follows software change management processes for change implementation
• Works with MAC to ensure necessary MAC technical support is available to resolve issues in timely manner

Key skills and experience required:

• Must be a self-motivated individual who is capable of coaching and mentoring many team members in the technical aspects of completions
• Ability to demonstrate model behaviours and be comfortable working closely with peers and senior leadership across the organization
• Possess "expert" knowledge of the transition processes from project to stable operation of a large-scale facility
• Demonstrated ability to identify and build key relationships that contribute to high-class business results

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities including Licenses and Certifications:

• At least Ten (10) years' experience working on large-mega size turnover projects, out of which some experience is required in supervision of Systems Completions, Commissioning work
• Eight (8) years' experience and a background in Automation/Control systems
• Chevron project and TCO experience is advantageous
