Planning Manager (Project Planner) at Harwell With Security Clearance - Duration until end of Mar 2019 initially

Qualifications:
An exciting opportunity to work in the Programme Management team on the Radiological Waste Management Site in Harwell, Oxford. We are looking for a planner with extensive work experience and knowledge of Project Life Cycle to create, work and maintain schedule, expedite progress, resolve issues, update progress and communicate status to the programme team in order to enable the successful delivery of the Clients key milestones.

Responsibilities:
Planning Manager - full time from 22nd October until 29th March 2019 * * Direct report to community engagement & site evaluations project manager * * Develop and manage detailed, logic-linked schedules for projects within the siting directorate * * Identify and track internal and external interdependencies * * Manage the month-end schedule update for projects within the siting directorate * * Participate in monthly work package and project reviews * * Continue development of the near-term siting work plans (years 1 - 5) * * Ensure alignment between the near-term siting and technical work plans * * Sound knowledge of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office applications We will be looking for a minimum of 10 years' experience acting in a senior position to support the above capability. * Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior management - Skills to deliver engaging presentations to a diverse audience. SC Security Clearance required Desirable * Experience of Nuclear sector activities * Formal PM Qualification such as APM APMP (IPMA Level D). * Highly organised and efficient, with excellent attention to detail. * Calm under pressure with strong prioritisation and problem solving skills.
