Quality Engineer - Nuclear, Bristol with trips to Paris/Lille

Quality Engineer
Location: Bristol Temple Meads, regular travel to Paris and Lille required
Responsibilities: Reporting to the Business Unit General Manager, they shall be responsible for 2 main activities.

• Project orientated activities
  • To work with functional leads on a multi-disciplinary nuclear engineering project to put in place the Procedures, Processes and Working Instructions to ensure quality of the output
  • perform surveillance and audits on the project output
  • support project team to perform surveillance and audit on suppliers and subcontractors
  • Drive continuous improvement process
• Business orientated activities
  • Work with the Business Unit General Manager to design and implement a QMS for a new business operating in the UK and to secure accreditation for ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS18001 and ISO27001

Experience: At least 5years as QA Lead for large and complex projects in a high assurance industry (nuclear, oil & gas, pharma etc). Demonstrated experience in setting up systems from scratch
Expected day in the region of: £350 - £450 per day all-in based in Bristol
Option to transfer to staff after 6 months
