Rail: Lead Planning Engineer

Lead Planning Engineer required to work on the Crossrail Project.
London.
10-12 month contract .
Rate negotiable depending on relevant experience.

Role Brief:
To prepare periodic progress reports for Level 1 and Level 2 Schedules. Supporting the Project Teams with all planning related activities associated with the management of their contracts and reporting requirements. Participating and supporting the projects teams in project and programme planning and progress meetings. Identifying and and maintaining programme and project milestone and schedule interface activities.

Experience & Skills Required:
Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control and analysis in the field and the home office.
Working knowledge of multiple discipline specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and MS Applications.
Previous Management experience of Planning Engineers working on a number of major civil infrastructure projects.
Knowledge if Engineering & Construction Management and customarily acquired over time through specialised instruction or practical experience.
Knowledge of NEC contract processes
