Senior Cost Manager required for the HS2 Project based in Birmingham
Permanent Staff Position.

As a Senior Cost Manager you will act as the key, day to day client interface, ensuring that client objectives are met through the delivery of a value added cost management service.
Manage estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of monthly cost reporting and cost variance analyses in order to report progress on programme plan.
Ensure that Property Cost Estimate (PCE) variances and change control processes are managed effectively across the Land and Property Programme.
Ensure that cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively to provide good cost controls.
Experience & Knowledge Required:
Ability to take inputs from the Program Team on cost performance and providing insightful reporting and analytics
Ability to develop and implement effective supply change metrics
Ability to assess financial risks and contribute to the risk register as appropriate
Experience in a similar cost management environment
Experience of resolving complex problems, delivering accurate data and designing and managing KPIs
Analytically review areas of concern and liaise with project managers and senior management to address in a timely fashion.
