Rail: Senior Project Engineer

Senior Project Engineer - London Paddington - Contract
8- 9 months initial duration.
Working on legacy Crossrail projects including the Traction Power Upgrades of Western and Anglia Routes and other new projects continuing into CP6.
Ideal candidates will combine technical expertise as a Distribution Engineer and be able to take over Designated Project Engineer/Engineering Management duties for a Traction Power or OLE Upgrade project. Equally, a strong candidate with either a broad railway engineering experience at a Senior level (on projects with direct responsibility of engineering complexity circa of £25M +) or a Traction Power Technical Expert (at Principal Engineer level).
Additional Experience Required :
·Significant experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi discipline areas
·Technical qualifications to at least HND level or equivalent
·Experience with a traction power firm
·Traction power 25kv for project delivery experience
·Experience of rail systems
·Membership of a relevant professional institution
·Experience of major contracting
·Knowledge of structuring safety cases in support of projects
·Knowledge of safety management and quality assurance
·Understanding of the arrangements required for the independent assessment of works
· Accident investigation experience
