Senior Piping Engineer - Cologne
Main Responsibilities:
· Creation the design and delivery specifications such as Installation and piping planning, pipe specs and material specifications as well as material excerpts
· Coordination with other specialist departments and the construction site as well as technical guidance of the pipeline construction team
· Management of the pipeline construction team in small projects during project execution with budget and deadline responsibility
· Bid evaluations and technical clarifications with suppliers and examination of manufacturer documentation
· Support of the lead engineer in the execution of major projects
· Implementation of site and pipeline planning and of internal and external design reviews Then show what makes you special
Required Skills and experience
· Must be a graduate in engineering studies or equivalent professional experience
· Minimum 5 years professional experience in pipeline and plant design
· Must be involved in petrochemical or Oil and gas project
· Sound knowledge of national and international regulations (DIN, EN, PED, ASME ) and materials science
· Ideally knowledge of material management and / or pipe statics and strength calculation of pipeline components
· Safe handling of MS Office; Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD
