Deliver complex rail infrastructure projects with real national impact.
Our Client has a requirement for a Project Manager, who will be required to work on a contract basis in Birmingham.
Role Purpose:
- Plan and integrate projects to deliver target costs, dependencies, risk management and project benefits
- Manage project delivery within a complex, multi-stakeholder rail infrastructure environment
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage integrated project workstreams, balancing cost, time, quality and risk
- Identify problems and review related information to support the development, evaluation and implementation of solutions
- Gather, synthesise and analyse information to support effective decision-making and option evaluation
- Assess data to support the development of strategies and document supporting rationales
- Influence and negotiate with internal functions and external supply-chain partners
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to resolve emergent risk situations
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Aligned to APM Project Manager
- Strong problem-solving capability
- Effective decision-making and analytical skills
- Proven influencing and negotiating skills
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management capability
- Knowledge of NEC3 contracts – essential
