We’re seeking an experienced Senior Planner ready to own, lead, and deliver complex, long-term water infrastructure programmes. If you’re passionate about shaping how critical water projects are planned and delivered, this is your chance to make a real impact.

The Role – Senior Planner

As Senior Planner, you will take full ownership of one or more water project programmes, keeping delivery teams aligned, informed, and on track. You’ll combine hands-on planning with team leadership, setting standards, embedding best practice, and mentoring junior planners to build a high-performing planning function.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed programmes across the full lifecycle of water infrastructure projects
Define and manage scope, resources, logic, and dependencies
Drive critical path, risk, change, and recovery strategies
Produce high-quality programme narratives and reports for stakeholders
Maintain robust baseline management, coding structures, and schedule integrity
Mentor and support junior planners to create a collaborative, high-performing team

What You’ll Bring

Extensive planning experience in the water industry or regulated infrastructure environments
Strong hands-on expertise with Primavera P6
Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring planning teams
Confidence working with live programmes, claims, and contractual change
Clear, credible communication of complex planning information
A calm, proactive, and solutions-focused approach under pressure
